Customers only discover the disappearance of these bundles when attempting to top up. There has been no word in the traditional media and no announcement on Camtel\u2019s or Blue by Camtel\u2019s digital platforms, which continue instead to post concert invitations, games, or promotions for their FTTH offer, itself widely criticized on Facebook.<br \/><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two weeks ago, <strong>Digital Business Afric<\/strong>a contacted Camtel\u2019s Head of Communications Unit, Benedit Ndinwa, Head of the Communications Division, Eric Benjamin Lam\u00e8re, and CEO Judith Yah Sunday to request an explanation for this abrupt removal. As of August 8, 2025, our interview request remains unanswered.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-des-milliers-d-internautes-exigent-des-explications-en-vain\"><p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Thousands of internet users demand answers\u2026 in vain<\/strong><\/p><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On social media &#8211; especially Camtel\u2019s Facebook page &#8211; no post, regardless of its subject, escapes angry subscriber comments. Complaints range from suspended bundles to purchased but unusable data and poor network quality.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For example, under a July 1, 2025, post titled \u201cCamtel Sets the Tone at SAGO 2025!\u201d, in which the company described its participation at the 14th Government Action Fair alongside top officials, nearly all of the 76 comments were negative. None praised the company\u2019s presence; all criticized poor internet access or the removal of bundles.<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0<br \/><br \/><em>\u201cHi! I haven\u2019t been able to activate a Camtel bundle since this morning,<\/em>\u201d wrote one subscriber. Another mocked: \u201c<em>You\u2019re putting on a show in Yaound\u00e9 while the connection in Douala is terrible. Shame on you!\u201d<\/em><br \/><br \/>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kristelle Can turned her comment into an <strong>official complaint:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-cela-fait-desormais-4-jours-que-je-suis-privee-de-connexion-internet-alors-que-toutes-mes-factures-sont-reglees-ce-qui-est-encore-plus-revoltant-c-est-l-absence-totale-de-communication-de-votre-part-aucun-message-aucune-assistance-c-est-a-moi-cliente-de-venir-solliciter-des-explications-c-est-inadmissible-et-temoigne-d-un-profond-manque-de-respect-et-de-professionnalisme\"><em>\u201cIt\u2019s now been 4 days that I\u2019ve been without internet access, even though all my bills are paid. What\u2019s even more outrageous is the complete lack of communication from you. No message, no assistance. It\u2019s up to me, the customer, to chase you for explanations. This is unacceptable and shows a profound lack of respect and professionalism.\u201d<\/em><\/h2>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unsurprisingly, this comment &#8211; like so many others &#8211; has gone unanswered.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"803\" src=\"https:\/\/www.digitalbusiness.africa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Plainte-Camtel-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-97225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.digitalbusiness.africa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Plainte-Camtel-1.png 700w, https:\/\/www.digitalbusiness.africa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Plainte-Camtel-1-262x300.png 262w, https:\/\/www.digitalbusiness.africa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Plainte-Camtel-1-150x172.png 150w, https:\/\/www.digitalbusiness.africa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Plainte-Camtel-1-300x344.png 300w, https:\/\/www.digitalbusiness.africa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Plainte-Camtel-1-696x798.png 696w, https:\/\/www.digitalbusiness.africa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Plainte-Camtel-1-127x146.png 127w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-le-post-de-camtel-ayant-enregistre-de-nombreuses-plaintes\">Camtel&#8217;s post has received numerous complaints<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/camtelonline\/posts\/1168421861982893\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>See the post<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-un-abandon-de-marche-et-de-clients\"><strong>A withdrawal from the market\u00a0\u200b- and customers<\/strong><br \/><br \/>\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This silent removal of Blue bundles, without prior notice or official explanation, amounts to <strong>a partial withdrawal from the market<\/strong> &#8211; specifically from customers who consume between 100 and 500 CFA francs per day &#8211; and a blatant neglect of customer relations.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Added to the operator\u2019s many other issues, this approach only speeds up the exodus of subscribers to competitors eager to snap up dissatisfied clients. It is a combination of incompetence and blatant disregard for users.
