Morocco: The 2019 AITEX Business Forum will be held on October 24 and 25, 2019 in Rabat with Congo and China as a country of honor

[Digital Business Africa] – The 4th edition of AFRICA IT EXPO (AITEX 2019), the International Business Forum on Information Technology, will be held on 24 and 25 October 2019, at the Sofitel Jardin des Roses Hotel in Rabat, Morocco. The announcement is from Apebi, the Federation of Information Technology, Telecommunications and Offshoring, organizer of this event which has become an IT showcase for the African continent. The theme chosen this year is: “Making Digital a new resource for AFRICA and an engine of growth”,

The countries honoured this year are Congo Brazza and China. “Digital technology is becoming an undeniable growth resource for the Continent, without forgetting the challenges. The continent’s constraints and needs are being addressed by Africa’s strong capacity to meet the challenges, making AITEX 2019 the innovation and technology agora,” says Saloua Karkri Belkeziz, President of APEBI.

The themes that will be addressed during this 4th edition are diverse. We can mention: Which digital Africa in Horizon
2025; Reverse innovation; the future of work; disruptive technologies and their impact (AI ,5G ,IOT,….); Citizen Centric or Cybersecurity

The third edition of the Africa IT Expo was held in Rabat, Morocco, from 4 to 5 October 2018. 20 countries, including 10 Africans, 50 experts and speakers from the digital sector, 150 start-ups selected as part of the STARTEX competition and more than 1200 participants from all over the world gathered around the theme: “Which digital for Africa? ».

AITEX offers visitors solutions and innovations every year, while bringing together the experiences, testimonials, cross-views and lighting of internationally renowned experts and consultants.

As for the last three editions, AITEX will be for two days the platform of exchanges, partnerships and meetings between companies, institutions, consultants and renowned experts. AITEX will offer multiple opportunities for companies, to develop their innovation ecosystem, collaborate with startups, present the latest technologies, develop networks, discuss new ideas and meet decision-makers.
