[Digital Business Africa] – Since July 25, 2019, Cyrille Lavoisier Kemayou is the Managing Director of IHS Towers Rwanda, one of the largest providers of mobile telecommunications infrastructure in Africa, Europe and the Middle East. He took over the management of IHS Rwanda Ltd., which began operations in December 2013 and owns and operates the majority of telecommunication towers in the country. His mission will be to stimulate a new dynamic in the development of this subsidiary of the group in this country of East Africa.
Prior to his appointment, Cyrille Lavoisier Kemayou was Commercial and Corporate Services Manager at IHS Towers Cameroon since December 2012. The Sales, Marketing and Corporate Communications Specialist holds a Master’s degree in Advertising and Public Relations from IHS Towers Cameroon. He is a former student of the Advanced School of Mass Communication (ASMAC) of Yaounde.
A rich experience
For six years, he was in charge of the social responsibility at MTN Cameroon. He also have several executive positions on his CV. Among them, Deputy General Manager at UNIPAL Central & West Africa (P & G Affiliated Distributor) for two years (from January 2011 to December 2012). Just like from 2008 to 2010 he was Director at Palmares Sport, a firm in charge of the definition and operationalization of the sponsorship and marketing strategies of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT).
In 2016, he also completed an executive program at Harvard Business School in the United States. An experience that he is now called upon to put at the service of IHS Towers Rwanda.
According to Freddy Tchalla, CEO of MTN Ivory Coast, Cyrille Lavoisier Kemayou is a well-organized professional who delivers projects to high standards. Joël Ndjodo, a former colleague at MTN Cameroon, says of this brave Cameroonian that he is “a dedicated, rigorous professional with a lot of empathy and above all with a proven culture of results and performance. His leadership and planning skills have always been at the service of the company“.
